Tell the EU to make trains quieter

The European Commission has opened a public consultation on railway noise on its website. The closing date is 31 July.

The resulting noise pollution endangers public health and costs local authorities huge amounts of money for noise barriers and insulation. And yet, the technology to make wagons quieter already exists.
